Your financial support can make a world of difference in the life of a young person.
Like John, a 16-year-old who has struggled with anger management issues that affected his relationships with his family and school peers. Through the Christian Home of Johnstown’s Aggression Replacement Therapy program, John is acquiring the skills he needs to manage his behavior. Today, he has more positive interaction with his family, and is making friends at school.
Or, like Sarah, a 17-year-old who was abused as a young child, was homeless for a time, and fell into substance abuse. Because of the structure and support of the Christian Home, and programs like “Healthy All Over,” Sarah understands how healthy living habits contribute to good physical health and mental well-being overall.
The funding that the Christian Home receives from county programs only meets a portion of each resident’s overall expenses. To make sure that we can provide a complete range of therapeutic and social programming for our residents, we rely on the generous support of individuals, businesses and charitable foundations. Whether you respond to a letter solicitation, email request, or simply wish to initiate a gift on your own, please know that your support means so much!
