The Christian Home of Johnstown utilizes great care in selecting staff because a caring staff IS A MUST. Because we care for children, all staff must have a compassion for and a desire to work with children. Our staff is regularly trained in many areas to assure the quality of care that we require for the youth we serve.

New staff are trained over a three-month period, and includes every aspect of our programs. Our training program also allows the staff to build a relationship with their coworkers, supervisors and the residents. We believe that, in order to expect quality staff, we must give quality training and ongoing support.

The staff of the Christian Home is a compassionate and caring group of people that want the very best possible care for every child in our service. The agency’s expectations are clear….IT’S ALL ABOUT THE CHILDREN!

Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care for children who, at least temporarily, are calling The Christian Home their home.
